Yeast is a diagram that examines the computerized keyword access system that has replaced the card catalog. This is a large chart that traces the pathways by which books are called up by a particular keyword request. The pathways originate with the word "bread," both because of its concrete and fundamental nature, and in reference to Romanian artist Daniel Spoerriês "Annotated Dictionary of Chance." The diagram then spreads according to the system and contents of the library, spelling out every title associated with a particular keyword.
